Happy Bright Colored Friday

Posted on: No Comments

I don’t know about you but Friday is such a fun day! We are  tying things up in the office for  rehearsal dinners and weekend events and it puts everyone in a celebratory mood. Today we wanted to share that fun with you, and  send something bright to our friends up north. We know there is a winter storm headed your way and hope this tiny bit of bright brings the sun inside.

I absolutely love this look for a bridal party, or even fashionista inspired Bat Mitzvah. If you haven’t noticed from my previous posts, I am a little obsessed with solid color dresses right now. The guest of honor would look fabulous in this hot pink gown with back bow detail. Flowers in shades of pink, yellow, blue and pops of orange would compliment the decor and bring a smile to everyones face. How fun is this cake, and don’t forget to give guests a sneak peek of what they are in for with a hot pink invitation with gold calligraphy! Of course we had to throw in a gold, glitter wand – because every girl is always a princess.

Counting our Blessings

Posted on: No Comments

I don’t know about you, but this is certainly one of the busiest times of the year. The holidays are just around the corner, family is coming to town for Thanksgiving and then Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the season, it’s easy to forget to count your blessings. We at CLE are thankful for many things, especially our fabulous clients who allow us to do what we love. Have a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow and I’ll be back next week with some movie-inspired mood boards!

Cheers,

Blush and Sequins

Posted on: 2 Comments

Happy Wedding Wednesday! When we asked what you would like to see on the blog today you answered! Jessika said, “Blush wedding gowns!” and that is exactly what we have for you! To be honest I have been holding on to this gorgeous gown for a few weeks now (see the full wedding HERE). The sequins and texture of this to-die-for dress make the perfect combination of stunning. If I put this gown into my dream wedding there would be blush and sequins everywhere. I love these gorgeous chargers and gold flatware on this place setting. These invitations are simple and sweet, just like the cupcakes. If this were my wedding I would put my bridesmaids in blush and sequins too!

I’m a Kappa Alpha Theta

Posted on: 2 Comments

Call me a dork, but today I am black and gold through and through. Yes, I was a sorority girl in college and belong to the fabulous house of Kappa Alpha Theta. You may remember from my proposal blog post the Gamma Tau house at the University of Tulsa is where I met my fiancé, and where he proposed. So today’s blog post is all Theta! Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. We value our history and take pride in our four founders, who were truly visionary. Our vision statement—Kappa Alpha Theta is the organization that provides the finest and most rewarding membership experience—is based on our core purpose and values. Our purpose is to support members to learn, grow, and excel, and our core values are personal excellence, friendship/sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership. It was January 27, 1894 the first recorded mention of an event called “Founders Day” was held at the Alpha Beta Chapter (Swarthmore, outside Philadelphia). Happy Founders Day Theta’s! Put your best dress, gorgeous heels and great accessories on. Send out black and gold invitations, set the table and pop open the bubbly because over 100 years of celebrating our founders is worth it’s own blog post!

Theta Love and All Mine!
