Pumpkin Color Palette to Event: Vol. 3

Posted on: No Comments

With November coming to a close we begin our two blog Thursday with another edition of our pumpkin color palettes turned into events! Besides, what girl doesn’t love pink? I am an love with the color and how these pretty pumpkins have been placed on pedestals to showcase the feminine side of a classic orange pumpkin. To turn this event to life send out the perfect, gold foil envelope lined, pink invitations with intricate details. Carry those details over to the table with simple votive cup arrangements flanked by candles. As the guest of honor you must match your party, why not wear this fabulous gown with pink skirt and low back top. Pop a bottle of Dom Perigon, with pink label of course, to pair with individual guest petit fours to end the evening. We think this event is pretty fabulous, what do you think?

A Flirty, Fabulous and Fun Wedding

Posted on: No Comments

Let me start off by saying Fendi + purple + bows = heaven! Are these shoes not to die for!I love the photographer placed them on this fabulous leopard print background, which it made it so much fun when designing this board! Today I have paired gold, purple and pink together for flirty wedding! I know I don’t usually feature guys, but this one is good looking and I am now obsessed with this backdrop! When Daily Candy featured a post from Rachelle at Wiley Valentine about her daughters 2nd birthday party (seriously it’s adorable) they gave a shout out to this gold stunner. Hello photobooth! However, before anyone got to the photobooth I would send out these invites! Set the tone with gold paper and confetti so guests are ready for a good time! The cake and toast are most often one of the featured parts of the evening, and with this pair of treats you will not let your guests down. What girl wouldn’t love a pink and purple cake and glittered bottle of champagne? Finish off the reception look with ranunculus, peonies and succulents for centerpieces with a confetti runner. Who could forget the bride? The bride for this wedding has to be just as fun as the decor! So, strike up the band here she comes in a simple dress, adorable short veil and sleek updo! Happy flirty, fabulous, fun and Fendi day!

Take Me Back in Time

Posted on: No Comments

I am a sucker for soft pretty things, and if they are vintage it makes it that much better. This bride is simply stunning. I love her demeanor, gloves, hair, tiny bow details on her dress… what is there not to love. I would pair this bride was a striking, very Gatsby groom and put them in a fabulous clear top garden tented reception. With vintage keys for escort cards and luggage tags as a favor anyone would be silly to miss this wedding. What do you think about this theme for a wedding?

Call me a dork, but today I am black and gold through and through. Yes, I was a sorority girl in college and belong to the fabulous house of Kappa Alpha Theta. You may remember from my proposal blog post the Gamma Tau house at the University of Tulsa is where I met my fiancé, and where he proposed. So today’s blog post is all Theta! Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870 as the first Greek-letter fraternity for women. We value our history and take pride in our four founders, who were truly visionary. Our vision statement—Kappa Alpha Theta is the organization that provides the finest and most rewarding membership experience—is based on our core purpose and values. Our purpose is to support members to learn, grow, and excel, and our core values are personal excellence, friendship/sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership. It was January 27, 1894 the first recorded mention of an event called “Founders Day” was held at the Alpha Beta Chapter (Swarthmore, outside Philadelphia). Happy Founders Day Theta’s! Put your best dress, gorgeous heels and great accessories on. Send out black and gold invitations, set the table and pop open the bubbly because over 100 years of celebrating our founders is worth it’s own blog post!
