I will be the first to admit that fall is not my favorite season… I know, I know. I do love that the weather is cooling, but I do not like that it means winter is coming. I am so much more of a sunshine, bright spring and summer colors, hang out by the pool kind of girl. So, even though fall is here I will not be down. I have found some of my favorite fall things to throw a party on today’s blog! The number one thing (to me) that says fall has arrived is pumpkin spice lattes at that famous coffee shop, and who doesn’t love pumpkin? So lets throw a pumpkin party, and I’m not talking about a pumpkin patch kiddo party, I’m talking a pretty pumpkin party. Start with sweet tone on tone invitations with a ribbon tied in a knot; while you’re at it throw a ribbon in your hair too. Set the tables with pretty plates and linen napkins. I am loving the idea of taking your favorite serving dishes to the paint store to match the color, then painting your pumpkins to match! If you don’t think your serving dishes would be pretty pumpkin colors you can not go wrong with flowers. I love to change things up, so instead of your typical fall colors create centerpieces from soft yellow parrot tulips, white ranunculus, greenery from the flower stems and a touch of red. For dessert serve cider and pumpkin rolls. I’m thinking I love this so much I need to have a girls night for a fun dinner party; who wants to be added to the list?
